The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The video surveillance system is visibly installed and configured in compliance with the principles of necessity, proportionality and data minimization. Recordings are limited to the areas strictly relevant to the purposes indicated above.
The system is configured for event-based recording (motion detection) and does not perform continuous recording.
Images are retained for a variable period, generally up to 29–30 days, depending on the number of recorded events and the available storage space of the recording system.
This retention period is justified by the rural nature of the location, the possibility of delayed detection of relevant events and the need to perform subsequent security checks.
At the end of the retention period, recordings are automatically overwritten. Relevant recordings may be extracted and retained for a longer period only when necessary for the protection of rights or upon request by competent authorities.
The data will not be publicly disclosed.
Data subjects may exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, including the right of access, erasure (within the technical limits of the system) and restriction of processing. Requests may be submitted using the contact details of the Data Controller.
The provision of data is implicit when entering areas subject to video surveillance.
