In the heart of the Berici Hills, in the municipality of Zovencedo, there is a place that was not created simply to be visited, but to be truly experienced.
Bussolo is a small rural hamlet immersed in nature, surrounded by hornbeam, oak and chestnut woods, where silence is not the absence of sound, but the presence of balance.
Here, the day follows the rhythm of light, colors and seasons. Sunsets open onto wide and deep landscapes, while trails begin directly at the doorstep.
It is a place that requires a small degree of adaptation, but gives back much more: calm, freedom and an authentic connection with the surrounding landscape.
Bussolo is not a place that was artificially created, but a place that was discovered. Every detail is the result of a natural balance between landscape and human presence.
People do not come here simply to stay, but to slow down, observe and reconnect with a different rhythm.
“Bussolo” is not a name invented at a desk.
It was the nickname by which an old inhabitant of the hamlet was known, already at the beginning of the last century.
Over time, the name remained attached to the place itself. Even today, in Zovencedo, most local residents refer to this area simply as “da Bussolo”.
It is even said that relatives who had emigrated used to send letters addressed only to “da Bussolo, Zovencedo” — and that those letters still arrived at their destination.
Over the years, the name Bussolo also appeared on old topographic maps of the area, becoming part of the local memory of these hills.
Bussolo is evolving
We are working with passion and care to make this place accessible, while preserving its soul.
Our goal is not simply to offer accommodation, but to build an experience shaped by careful observation of what truly makes a difference.
Throughout our travels we have collected details, sensations and small insights: from what works, to what is often missing.
Every choice we are making comes from that. From the idea that even a simple detail – such as a thoughtfully designed space – can contribute in a meaningful way to the well-being of those who experience it.
